The user can import using the import wizard (File>Import). The first window of the wizard requires you to choose where to save imported data to, select the language of imported translations and type of imported files. The type of supported files to import depends on the type of a file used for import. The what to import list is updated automatically as soon as the file has been selected in the where to import data list.

The user can import from the following file formats:

• Translated File – not supported when data is imported to the translation memory.
• Translation Memory Project – not supported when data is imported to the translation memory.
• Translation Memory eXchange (TMX) file – TM data exchange file.
• Comma Separated Value (CSV) file – text file of values.
• Glossary file (GLO) – text file of glossary
• Text file (TXT) – compatible with text file formats exported by Multilizer/Sisulizer

Clicking on the Next button of the wizard opens the standard file selection dialog. Once a file is selected, the wizard opens the settings page of an imported file. The look of this page is determined by the type of file. However the file name field and the Overwrite existing translations option are always present, regardless of the file type.

Clicking the Process> button starts the import process. The import progress and messages are displayed on the last page of the wizard. Items of the localization project whose translation is imported are marked as For review.
